• For guest mode users, a randomized anonymous identifier is generated to store your local preferences and bookshelf.
• When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address or account identifier to authenticate you across devices.

B. Purchase Information:

• When you purchase digital coins, items, or subscriptions, payment transactions are handled exclusively by authorized app store billing platforms (such as Google Play In-App Billing and Apple In-App Purchase). We do not collect or store your payment credentials (such as credit card numbers). We only receive transaction confirmations (e.g., transaction ID, timestamp, item purchased) to deliver your purchased content.

C. Customer Support and Feedback:

• Any information you voluntarily submit when submitting feedback, reporting bugs, or communicating with support.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

A. Technical and Device Information:

• Device model, operating system version, app version, language preference, and basic network connection status. This data is used solely to optimize app performance, troubleshoot crashes, and verify app compatibility.

B. Reading Activity and Preferences:

• Reading progress, chapter bookmarks, reading history, font and display preferences, and books added to your personal library. This ensures your reading state is seamlessly restored.

2.3 Children's Privacy

IrisRead complies with applicable children's online privacy protection regulations (including COPPA and GDPR). The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under these age thresholds. If we learn that such data has been collected without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete it.

Your data may be processed on secure servers located outside your home country. • Account Data: Retained while your account remains active. You can request account deletion directly within the app settings. Upon confirmed deletion, your account credentials and personal reading history are permanently erased from active databases within 30 days.

We respect your privacy and never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information under strict confidentiality in the following limited situations:

• Business Transitions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, user information may be transferred to the successor entity under the continued commitments of this Privacy Policy.

When material revisions occur, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, displaying a notice within the application. Continued use of IrisRead after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
